How to send your question to Dr Gerlis

1. To ask Dr Gerlis a question about sexual health, STDs, symptoms or treatment, submit your question by sending it in an email to info@datepositive.net..

2. Either Steve or Sheelagh will choose a couple of questions each month to forward to Dr Gerlis.

3. Check back in five to seven days and Dr Gerlis’ response to your question will be posted on this blog in Ask the Doctor seciton

About Dr Gerlis

Dr Laurence Gerlis, MA, MB, B Chir (Cantab), MRCP (UK), FFPM, is Chief Executive Officer of Samedaydoctor, a group of private, walk-in clinics providing a same-day service.

You may be familiar with Dr Gerlis – he is has worked with Channel 4, LBC radio, and the BBC. Dr Gerlis is a BUPA-registered specialist and is licensed to practice medicine in France as well as the UK. He graduated with double-first class honours from Clare College Cambridge where he won the William Butler prize in Medicine.

Full sexual health screens include HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, gonorrhoea, Chlamydia, ureaplasma and NSU testing. Additional tests may be carried out for herpes and human papilloma virus.
