This Youtube video was produced by a company for TrueTube and then posted on It tells the story of a women who is a member of and how she got herpes from her boyfriend. It’s a sad story, and at the same time a warning about the risk of getting herpes when someone is asymtomatic (ie not showing symptoms) – as was the case with this woman’s former boyfriend.

The good news is that the woman featured met new friends on and is now in a relationship.

We have not posted off-topic in the past and have only used the blog to provide information about online dating and promote the site.

February online dating profiles of the month announced

Each month we reward members who have put some thought into their profile and written something really interesting.

Great feedback on the new site

We have received some pretty positive feedback on the new site – thank you to all those who have emailed us or added comments elsewhere.

The feedback is appreciated. On our IM survey results Polar 64 told us that the new sites looks great and is easier to navigate. That is the kind of feedback we like to hear.
